Michael A. Rogers, CPA

Michael A. Rogers received a Bachelor of Science from Shepherd College with a concentration in accounting in 1980. Mike received a masters of Business Administration from Mount Saint Mary’s College in 1985 and Passed the uniform Certified Public Accountant exam in 1986. Mike founded Michael A. Rogers, CPA, PA in 1989 after working for two public accounting firms. Mike specializes in the areas of personal tax planning, business consultation and planning, new business start-up and financing.

JoEllen LaBrosse
JoEllen LaBrosse has been the Office Administrator for the firm since 1998. She has thirty-five years in the administration field. JoEllen brings knowledge and organization to the firm and coordinates the activities of all the team members. She is very active in her community and local activities.

Patricia A. Barker
Patricia A. Barker received her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Managerial Accounting from East Carolina University. Pattie is currently working on her Masters of Accountancy. She has been working with the firm since 1992 and has considerable experience in personal and business tax preparation as well as financial accounting. Pattie has been a Quick Books® Pro Advisor for many years, training and consulting on the program.

Debra L. Bellman
Debra L. Bellman graduated from Mount Olive College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received her Master’s of Business Administration from Boston University. Debbie has been with the firm since 1997 and specializes in personal and fiduciary income tax preparation. Debbie has been in the accounting/income tax field since 1978 and has been an Enrolled Agent since 1989. Debbie is also an adjunct professor for two colleges in the New Bern area where she teaches a variety of business and finance courses.

Tracy S. Boyd
Tracy S. Boyd has been working with the firm since 1998. She has an Associates degree in Accounting and is currently completing the requirements to become an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. She is experienced with budget accounting in Peachtree software and has considerable experience in personal and business tax preparation, planning and business financial accounting.

Ronald N. Kidwell
Ronald Kidwell brings 25 years of combined business and accounting experience to Michael A. Rogers, CPA, PA. For 10 years Ronnie was a business owner and made the change to Accountant for the last 15 years. Ronnie has been working with the Firm since 2006 and has considerable experience in personal and business tax preparation and business financial accounting. In addition to being a Quickbooks® Pro Advisor, Ronnie is currently completing the requirements for Enrolled Agent status with the Internal Revenue Service.

April T. Lambert
Administration with a concentration in Accounting. April’s previous experience as a small business owner and corporate accountant lend to her knowledge and ability to work strategically while developing client relationships. She is currently pursuing her Enrolled Agent status with the Internal Revenue Service. April is a member of the board of directors for the New Bern Craven County Farmer’s Market. She is also an active volunteer in the downtown New Bern community with interests in arts and education.
